Ken Eis began taking scenic photographs 45 years ago. He progressed from 35mm film to 6x6 cm medium format and then to 4x5 inch view camera images. While traveling in his Air Force career he had many photographic opportunities. When digital capture started Ken's interest in photography intensified. He has won several awards at local galleries, and at the Loveland Photographic Society.
Ken's artistic intent is to capture the fealing of place, and not just document a landscape. Many of his photographs have been manipulated using High Dynamic Range imagery as well as judicious Photoshop adjustments.
